January 2011 – Episode #1

Here is the first episode of TCN Radio featuring interviews with a participant of the student occupation movement, and an anarchist elder. A fragment of the Q&A session with the Greek guests from the Void Network at the BASTARD Conference regarding the Anarchist Space, a reading by Wolfi Landstreicher, a reading of Claire Fontaine, and some local news.

Enjoy.

I like it. Two things off the top of my head; 1)what is the music in the various segments?
I would like to know. 2) some segments have a lot of mic noise, but you all probably already know that.

    liked the burp!

Intro band: Matador from santa cruz (black powder records! anarchist distro yaay!)
Outro band: Dark Dark Dark from minneapolis (supply and demand records)
Random TCN segues: Lukid from london (werk discs)

        thanks!
i thought Dark Dark Dark, but i am not that familiar with that band. i thought i heard P. Glass in there, probably a sample.

I Really like the project. Hope to hear more from y’all.

    What does TCN stand for?

loved your first show. congratulations, very nicely done and such a good radio voice (the sound of it, plus nice and slow).

news, commentary, and the such is great – may i recommend some music reviews or commentary on that area. also, obviously it is tough to have callers and other guests from the blue especially on podcast, but that can also be pretty fun to hear as well.

while, i’d hate to censor it, if i were to ever use some clips on another radio show, you can’t drop the f-bomb, but i suppose it isn’t hard to cut that out either if others choose to use your stuff on other shows. plus, too much human strike dub. but funny. is that an actual song?

i’m guessing that TCN stands for “The Chronicles of Narnia” or “Towards the Creative Nothing”… but, I’m going to put my money on “The Chronicles of Narnia”. Looking forward to hearing next months.
